BTL Machine announced on May 13th it has achieved the designation of “Bronze” Preffered Supplier Certification from The Boeing Company for its business practices, quality, and delivery performance.

In order to earn the Bronze Certification, qualifying companies must attain a required 98% on-time delivery record and a 99% quality rating over a rolling 12-month period for all products delivered to Boeing. Additionally, suppliers must exhibit strong management and business systems as well as a focus on ongoing continuous improvement.

Boeing has over 11,300 suppliers in 66 countries, of which approximately 750 have achieved “Preferred Supplier” status.

BTL Machine produces airframe products and specialty hinges for the C-17 program using the latest technology CNC machine tools. BTL Machine is also an “integrator” for the Boeing Aircraft Services 757 passenger to freighter conversion kit; machining, assembling, and shipping one kit per month.
